Resources for mystic misfits
local organizer toolkit
Fall 2019
The toolkit is designed for folks who want to start a Nuns & Nones group where they live. Through stories, tips, tricks, and case studies, we hope to illuminate some of the bigger questions about starting a local group: What matters most? How do I start? What actually…happens?
expect surprises: a case study of the mercy residency
Winter 2019
Expect Surprises is a short publication of the learnings, gifts, and dreams offered to us by the Nuns & Nones Pilot Residency. It was written with love by the Sisters of Mercy, the residents, and other members of the Nuns & Nones team and community.
abc’s of course correction: a zine of social and spiritual provocations
Summer 2020
The ABC’s of Course Correction is a funky-prophetic “learning report,” sharing wisdom from Movement Generation’s Course Correction series, followup calls with our network, our own traditions and lineages, and the frontlines of today’s social and spiritual movements. We hope these provocations can deepen our individual and collective understanding to respond to these times soulfully and strategically. Enjoy!
ONE YEAR LATER: A RESOURCE GUIDE FOR RITUAL
Spring 2021
The One Year Mark: Ritual and Accompaniment Through the Pandemic Portal, and our accompanying resource guide, we invite you to consider COVID-19 as a collective rite of passage. Unlike a traditional rite of passage, no one is holding this container for us. But, any one of us can create moments of ritual and reflection in our own lives and communities, with the goal of emerging on the other side of pandemic with deeper courage, compassion, and commitment. Use these reflection prompts, juicy questions, and experimental ideas to get you started.
